Charnwood C4 & Aylesbury Surround Stove Installation

In this video we install a Charnwood C4 blu, Aylesbury limestone surround & split face black tiled chamber. We start by opening up the fireplace back to its builders opening. Once the fireplace is opened we insert a new concrete lintel to support the chimney. The hearth & surround is sealed with a stone sealer and then the hearth is fitted into place. 

After that the chimney is swept to remove any soot and then lined with a Midtherm Midflex 316L liner and pot hanging bird guard cowl.  The fireplace is boarded with a suitable fireboard and then tiled to the rear. The surround is fitted and then the tiling is completed to finish flush with the edges of the surround.

The chimney is being skimmed by the customers plasterer to complete the installation. 

A HETAS certificate is issued upon completion.
