Small external chimney? No problem.. in this farmhouse stove installation in Bromsgrove the customer wanted to create a traditional style inglenook. The external fireplace measured only 1300mm wide and would have opened up to a much smaller opening. We designed the inglenook to have a total width of 2400mm. The Inglenook was built out of reclaimed bricks. The customer supplied a reclaimed oak beam from the farm that acted as a large shelf. The top of the chimney was plasterboarded and then finished with Gyproc multi finish plaster.
A British made Charnwood Country 6 with clip on shelf and canopy was installed to stay in keeping with the design. We used the flue way of the external chimney to connect this appliance to with the relevant components.
