Clock Blithfield 5kW Stove Installation

In this video we install a Clock Blithfield 5kW with Black limestone hearth and bespoke oak beam. We start by getting a gas safe engineer to cap the gas. We then open up the fireplace back to its builders opening removing the old dated stonework. Once the fireplace is opened we insert a new concrete lintel to support the chimney. The chimney is then lined with a Midtherm Midflex 316L liner and pot hanging bird guard cowl.

We plasterboard the exterior of the chimney due to the old plaster not being square or salvageable. We cut and lay the hearth on site. The fireplace is then boarded with a suitable fireboard which provides a smooth paintable finish. 

The chimney is then skimmed ready for decorating. 

A HETAS certificate is issued upon completion.
